Students paint on stretched canvas, 30 x 40 or larger. Step-by-step instruction includes how to develop an image and project it onto the painting surface. Painting media includes latex, acrylic and oil; all of which will be discussed, in regard to their methods of application. From a traditional viewpoint, students gain a better understanding of color and value as it applies to their work.
