This class is divided into two segments: drawing in perspective and drawing the figure. In the first half of the course, students learn to use one, two and three-point perspective. This provides the basis for creating realistic drawings and achieving the illusion of three-dimensional space on paper. The second half of this class focuses on the fundamentals of figure drawing. Emphasis is on anatomy, proportions, and depicting motion and composition. The instructor will provide demonstrations and students will receive individual attention.
