Acquire the basic skills you need to render your fashion ideas visually. Emphasis is placed on drawing the fashion figure, color palette, rendering fabrics, illustrating stylish proportions and detailing garments through various media such as ink, pastel, charcoal and watercolor. There will be a visit by make-up artist Becky Treblin. Ms. Treblin will demonstrate the application of runway make-up on the model. Prior life drawing experience helpful but not required. Bring an 18 x 24 pad of newsprint paper and drawing pencils to the first class. A materials list will be handed out at that time.
