This class provides an opportunity for beginners to learn the basics of ceramics. Through an exploration of techniques, students will learn practical methods such as wheel throwing, hand-building via coil and slab, glazing, and raku. Each person will work at his or her own level with the guidance of the instructor. Suggested projects will include a festive lantern and wall sconce.
