This class is for the student who has never tried their hand at ceramic art. Instruction begins with a tour of the studio and an explanation of clay bodies, hand building and wheel throwing techniques, drying time, trim and bisque processes as well as an introduction to kilns and the application of glazes. This experience includes an outdoor raku firing.
